The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible in a recent retail robbery.
On January 9, 2017, at approximately 11:15pm, a lone male suspect entered a convenience store situated along the 100 block of Rideau Street. The suspect produced a knife and made a demand for cash. The suspect fled the premises with an undisclosed quantity of money. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 25-30 years old, with brown facial hair. At the time, he wore a grey winter jacket, a grey hooded sweater and a red t-shirt (see pictures).
