Suspect sought in gas station robbery on Rideau Street

The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for the recent robbery of a gas station.

On November 2, 2016, at approximately 1:45 am, a lone male suspect entered a gas station situated along the 200 block of Rideau Street. The suspect made a demand for cash and cigarettes, and indicated he had a gun. No weapon was seen. The suspect fled with an undisclosed quantity of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as being a white male, 30-35 years old, 5’5″(165 cm), slim build, moustache, English speaking. At the time he wore black shoes, blue jeans, blue jacket over a light grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood lined in red (images attached.)
